The back label lauds the grower, winemakers and label artist. Maybe next time they’ll credit the tonnellerie, for the oak is the most prominent component of this wine. There’s some attractive red fruit on the front end, but it’s quickly buried under a pile of lumber.  — J.C.  (10/1/1999)
