Isole e Olena 2004 Cepparello Sangiovese (Toscana)
Price
$56
Sangiovese is sourced from beautiful vineyards between Siena and Florence to produce an elegant, feminine wine with root beer, cola, blueberries, black pepper and almond paste, all compact and cleanly squared away, and making for a beautiful effect overall.

Isole e Olena 2001 Collezione de Marchi Cabernet Sauvignon (Toscana)
Price
$60
A wine that plays the finesse card like an ace: Elegant fragrances of blackberry, clove, cinnamon, toasted nuts and smoky oak spice are woven tightly together without ever being overstated. Dusty tannins and cherry-mint flavors kick in and fuel a long, satisfying finish. There is a small Cabernet Franc component.

Isole e Olena 2004 Collezione De Marchi Syrah (Toscana)
Price
$52
This is a good example of Syrah’s potential in Tuscany, giving off generous notes of bright cherry and boysenberry followed by toasted nuts, tobacco and smoked ham. This version has a particularly attractive finale, which is bursting with balsam and menthol freshness.

Isole e Olena 2007 Sangiovese (Chianti Classico)
Harmony and class best describe this luminous Chianti Classico from one of the region’s most celebrated producers. The wine is extraordinarily bright in the mouth with lingering expressions of spice and Spanish cedar. The blend sees 15% Canaiolo and 5% Syrah to round off the intense perfumes.

Isole e Olena 2005 Sangiovese (Chianti Classico)
Online Exclusive
Price
$22
This Chianti Classico strikes a beautiful balance between elegance and intensity. It has both and its pretty aromas of wild berry, rose, ginger, anise and spice come forth in a continuous, steady manner. It feels bright and lively in the mouth and ends with a touch of piquant spice.
