This is a seriously impressive wine. Its black currant fruit, rich smoky flavors and soft tannins come straight out of the glass. But it is very young, needing three years for aging to show its prune, black plum and herbal character blending well with the great layers of y showing some wood. Imported by Vinnovative Imports.

Exuding style and power, this Chardonnay shows complexity with great depth—and breadth—of aromas and flavors. Tropical fruit, citrus, butterscotch, toasted oak and spice are beautifully melded together to achieve a harmonious whole. Near-perfect fruit/acid balance, a supple mouthfeel, and a superlong finish displaying orange and toast notes wrap it up.

A taut but expressive nose of minerals, pepper and red fruit lead this lovely wine from Stellensbosch. The velvety, mouthfilling flavors of slightly sweet berry and spice are luxuriant, and the finish is long. Soft and refined but memorable. A beautiful wine with ageable appeal.

This appealing, assertive Cab offers upfront mouthfilling fruit, muscular tannins—but with an elegant, approachable character that gives it food-friendly potential. Aromas of blackberry, mint and spice lead into balanced waves of red fruit, vanilla and black currant. The finish is lingering. Overall, an exciting and accessible wine.
