If you are a fan of oily, dieselly character in your Riesling, you’ll like this more than I’ve rated it here. It’s intensely mineral, like you’ve sprinkled powdered rock over Macintosh apples, and has an oily texture that contrasts with the crispness and delineation in so many other Rieslings from this vintage. —J.C. — J.C.
