Pretty good for a Tempranillo, especially at this price. It’s a dry, light-bodied and silky wine, like Pinot Noir, except the cherry fruit, red currant, licorice and bacon flavors have a powerfully earthy note, like a mushroom and olive tapenade. The acidity could be softer, as it’s quite sharp through the finish.
