A complicated, satisfying young Pinot. The slight underripeness adds to its mouthfeel, bringing a rhubarb and heirloom tomato contrast to the sweeter cherries, raspberries and cola. With a lightly silky texture and dry finish, it’s quite an elegant sipper.

Kudos to Koehler for keeping this wine dry and acidic, which is what Sauvignon Blanc is supposed to be. But it’s not a lean wine at all. It has rich, savory flavors of lemons, limes, pineapples and kiwi fruits, with mouthwatering white pepper spices.
