La Braccesca 2004 Bramasole Syrah (Cortona)
Price
$38
Delicious, sweet-smelling and gorgeous, this Syrah from Cortona exhibits flawless aromas of ripe blueberry, spice, bacon and tobacco. The extraction is excellent and so is the intensity of its mouthfeel.

La Braccesca 2005 Prugnolo Gentile (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)
Price
$26
Thickly extracted and almost impenetrable in appearance, this Vino Nobile delivers the aromatic intensity you’d expect of a wine this dense and dark. It has clean notes of black cherry, ripe fruit and spicy notes of leather and tobacco. The feel in the mouth is lively and fresh with good crispness and firm tannins.

La Braccesca 2010 Sabazio Prugnolo Gentile (Rosso di Montepulciano)
Online Exclusive
Price
$15
Sabazio is a bold and savory Rosso di Montepulciano with spicy aromas of leather, tobacco, ripe fruit, blackberry preserves and rum cake. The intensity of the bouquet is there but the mouthfeel is light and tight.

La Braccesca 1996 Sangiovese (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)
Price
$26
Dark and earthy, featuring aromas of wet soil, tree bark, and damp leaves. There’s black-cherry fruit and some bitter-chocolate notes, but they’re below the surface. Characteristic Sangiovese acidity provides some lift, but it’s a brooding wine.
