Langtry 1997 Meritage Red

  1. $50
The bouquet is pretty big and dense, with some high-tone raspberry peeking through the surface. Black plum and cherry get help from licorice and vanilla on the palate. Zippy fruit is the signature, even as it does a nice, long fade.  — W.E.  (11/1/2000)

Langtry 2002 Meritage White (Guenoc Valley)

  1. $20
Easy drinking, dry white wine, crisp in acids and clean of finish, with earthy, citrus and peach flavors. It’s the kind of wine that seems to go with everything.  — S.H.  (12/31/2004)

Langtry 2000 Meritage Red

  1. $40
Rather bitter in green, stemmy herbs and acids, and not showing much beyond modest cherry and oak flavors. Finishes very dry.  — S.H.  (12/31/2004)
