Le Dôme 2004 Barrel Sample Red (Saint-Emilion)
93–96 This single-vineyard wine has benefited immensely from the quality of the Cabernet Franc in 2004. The perfumes are immediate and enticing, while the ripe fruit just pushes out over the layers of new wood.

Le Dôme 2005 Red (Saint-Emilion)
Price
$276
An aristocratic, perfumed wine dominated by delicious Cabernet Franc. Beneath this elegant exterior, there is also power from intensely concentrated fruit and tannins. The wine is already well integrated, the wood only here by feel, balancing so well with the fruit. To finish, sweet fruit and dusty tannins combine easily.

Online Exclusive
94-96 Barrel sample. A complete wine, with the tannins, deep blackberry fruit, sweet acidity and dense structure all coming together in great harmony. The wine is certainly ripe, but equally structured. For aging.

A gorgeously perfumed wine, dominated by the ripest Cabernet Franc, combining richness and an intense structure. With its tannins, it will age well over many years. The fruit is finely textured, deliciously juicy, showing the most complex series of flavors.

Le Dôme 2005 Barrel sample Red (Saint-Emilion)
Online Exclusive
92-94 Barrel sample. A fine, perfumed, Cabernet Franc-dominated wine that builds layers of rich, intense fruit. This is solid, powerful, but also shows potential charm. The dry aftertaste suggests good aging.
