Léonce Bocquet 2004 Brut Sparkling (Crémant de Bourgogne)
Editors' Choice
Price
$18
A nice straw/pale yellow color, the nose on this wine is subdued, with hints of grain, lime and slate, but the palate perks up with plenty of citrus flavor leaning toward lime. Balanced, with a smooth feel and tiny bubbles, this delicious sparkler will instigate caviar dreams.

Léonce Bocquet 2003 Brut Sparkling (Crémant de Bourgogne)

A fine apple-and-cream wine that bounces with freshness and liveliness. There might not be complexity, but this is definitely a wine that gives great, fruity pleasure. Imported by Cannon Wines Limited.

Léonce Bocquet NV Brut Rosé Sparkling (Crémant de Bourgogne)
Price

Red fruit and apricot aromas show this fresh, crisp wine off to advantage. Made from a blend of Chard and Pinot Noir, it has ripeness along with a dry, lingering aftertaste. Imported by Cannon Wines Limited.

Smells like a decent Champagne—chalk dust and toast scents waft from the glass. And why shouldn't it? It's a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, medium-weight, maybe a bit heavy on the dosage, but finishing with a good balance of sweetness and acidity, backed by chalky minerality.
