Louis Latour 2008 Les Cazetiers Premier Cru Pinot Noir (Gevrey-Chambertin)

  1. $120
While there are tannins, they are not as powerful as the appellation and year would suggest. Instead, there is bright acidity, strawberry flavors and a fresh feel.  — R.V.  (12/31/2010)

Louis Latour 2009 Vignes Franches Premier Cru Pinot Noir (Beaune)

  1. $65
Soft and rich, typical of the vintage. There is an attractive sweetness of crushed red fruits to go with the acidity. At the same time, there is the structure for medium-term aging.  — R.V.  (9/1/2011)

Louis Latour 2010 Epenots Premier Cru Pinot Noir (Pommard)

  1. $90
This is structured, with tannins and dark fruits that are balanced by bright acids. The firm, dry tannins give the wine shape; it will ultimately develop into a round, rich Pinot Noir.  — R.V.  (11/1/2012)

Louis Latour 1998 Chardonnay (Meursault)

  1. $34
Tart, citrusy fruit, with blossoms and zest and juice all blended into a medium-bodied wine. The finish opens out with some nice toast and vanilla cream. Round and full.  — P.G.  (11/1/2000)

Louis Latour 1998 Chardonnay (Puligny-Montrachet)

  1. $45
Quite tight and closed right now, with tart acidity that bodes well for the future. You can still eke out some subtle white-peach and honeydew fruit. Try in a couple of years.  — J.C.  (7/1/2000)

Louis Latour 2000 Chardonnay (Meursault)

  1. $34
It’s plump and juicy, yet not devoid of structure, blending Asian pear and citrus aromas and flavors with nectarine skin and bitter almond. There’s a softness to the finish that causes it to lose a little definition but helps it go down easy.  — W.E.  (8/1/2002)

Louis Latour 2004 Les Folatières Premier Cru Chardonnay (Puligny-Montrachet)

  1. $79
This wine is soft and ripe, but seems to lack structure. Don’t expect it to age.  — R.V.  (12/1/2006)
