Deep red-brown, like a mature Cab, this Ribatejo has tangy citrus and peanutty aromas, and distinct dried-herb and tree bark flavors. Thin in the mouth, it closes with more green wood and herb flavors. Tastes like it’s a little underripe.  — D.T.  (12/31/2001)
