Mad Fish 2006 Riesling (Western Australia)
Brisk and grapefruity, with perhaps some touches of ruby red or cherry as well. Despite the crispness, this is relatively easy to drink, because it also has a plump midpalate and friendly nature. A versatile seafood white.

Mad Fish 2005 Riesling (Western Australia)
Price
$14
Smells fresh and inviting, like lemon curd and freshly laundered sheets. Acidic but not overly tart; pear and peach flavors only get better and more intense as the wine opens. A very good wine at a fair price. 3,000 cases imported. Imported by Commonwealth Wine & Spirits Inc.

Mad Fish 2004 Shiraz (Western Australia)
Price
$14
This Shiraz is all about black cherry and plum fruit, accented with a cool, minty crispness. A forward, drink-now wine, but not as simple as all that. 30,000 cases produced. Imported by Commonwealth Wine & Spirits Inc.

Mad Fish 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz (Western Australia)
Price
$15
It’s not often that you find interesting wines, wines that have their own individual character, at this price. This red blend offers cool eucalyptus, earth and nutmeg aromas, and a palate rife with mixed berries. It’s dry (if you want sweet fruit, look elsewhere) and has soft, easy tannins—a wine suited for easy quaffing as it is to some contemplation. Imported by…

Mad Fish 2004 Sauvignon Blanc (Western Australia)
Price
$15
Has a little candle wax and citrus on the nose. The mouthfeel has a citrusy kick, but relies on its smooth, minerally feel. Offers lemon and lime flavors, but its understated, for sure. Imported by Orientale Imports LLC.

Mad Fish 2005 Rosé Cabernet Sauvignon (Western Australia)
Price
$14
The meaty, fresh-herb notes that we like about Cab manifest themselves differently in a rosé version of the variety. Though there’s some mixed-berry fruit here, it’s not a giving, fruit-forward wine. Perhaps suffers by being evaluated without food; this one’s meant for the table. Imported by Commonwealth Wine & Spirits Inc.

Mad Fish 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (Western Australia)
Online Exclusive
Price
$15
Tastes like it's trying to be New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, boasting a plump, almost sweet-tasting mouthfeel and tropical-tinged flavors that veer into the realm of green peas. short and honeyed on the finish--is this fully dry?

Mad Fish 2004 Chardonnay (Western Australia)
Price
$15
Fragrant tropical fruit flavors waft from the nose, but the palate is more understated, relying on mineral and chalk notes for flavor and texture. A simple, good choice whenever chicken breast is on the menu. Imported by Orientale Imports LLC.
