A rather ordinary Merlot, dry and rugged, with jammy-fruity flavors of cherries, herbs and oak. Blended with Beckstoffer Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives it needed body and power.

Lots of rich raspberry, cherry and blackberry fruit in this softly appealing wine. It’s also pretty oaky. Not much going on below the surface, but it sure is a pretty surface.

Bone dry and nicely crisp in acidity, with invigorating citrus and tropical fruit flavors that are marred by some unripe, green feline notes.
