Marrenon 2007 Orca VI Grenache (Ventoux)

$17
Deep ruby color. Multiple layers of aromas, ripe cherry-berry fruit, baking spice, toasty vanilla, leather and roasted meat. Full-bodied, smooth and richly textured. Supple tannins with just enough grip to give a moderately taut structure. Very flavorful with lots of wild forest fruits, baked plum pie, nutmeg, cinnamon, fine herbs and gamy notes. Quite extracted…

Marrenon 2010 Grand Marrenon White (Luberon)

$14
This partially barrel-fermented blend of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino and Roussanne is ambitious, but hits the right notes, displaying hints of toasted almond, vanilla, pineapple and honeyed ripeness. The wood and lees impact the wine, but not to excess.

A recent discovery, this Chardonnay (yes, Chardonnay) has a striking bouquet of flowers, spices, honey and nuts, then adds a peachy fruit component on the palate. It's medium in weight, with a lush texture and a long finish. A super bargain to drink over the summer months.

Marrenon 2000 Grand Luberon Red (Côtes du Luberon)

$10
Powerful, layered and rather deep, with a rugged yet pure bouquet. The palate is laser-beam forward, with hints of lemony oak supporting cherry and blackberry fruit. For a full-bodied wine with plenty of drive, give this a try. It shouldn’t disappoint, especially if you like a full-bodied, fruit-laden wine. Best Buy.
