This winery, once owned by the Bach family, is now part of Codorníu. The Tempranillo is made attractive through its plum and tobacco perfumes and the spicy character of eight months in American wood. Sweet and ripe; the tannins are soft and smooth. There is some aging potential—maybe three years.

A gushing, open wine, possessed of bright red color and tantalizing aromas of red cherries. Soft, but still concentrated, the palate has dusty tannins, herbs and red fruits. A very enjoyable Merlot despite a lack of much complexity.

Rich red color and aromas of herbs and red fruits are accompanied by scents of fresh grass. The palate is soft, with flavors of balsam and tobacco held together by sweet oak. An easy-drinking wine that’s ready to partner food now.
