Exotic aromas of orange peel, licorice and leather mask some of the light red fruit that seems to want to step out. Dried cherry, raspberry and apple skin carry the solid if standard palate, while the finish is clean, light, moderately tannic and modest in length.

Solid, with restrained red fruit, tea, fallen leaves and leather on the nose. Old school all the way, with raspberry and black cherry flavors and little to no perceivable oak. It expands nicely on the finish, offering a glance into the lighter style of Chianti.

The bright acid spine of this sassy wine shows off its sour cherry fruit and cinnamon-charcoal accents. Finishes dry, with some lingering toast flavors and mildly astringent tannins.
