A bit rusty and orange in color, with light, herbal aromas of cherry and leather. Quite light on the palate, with cherry and citrus notes. The long, dry finish is a bit smoky but not that fruity. Already mature or beyond.
The scents of sandalwood, pepper and dried cherry dominate a nose that indicates a wine that’s fading more than growing. There’s a bit of apple skin and cherry to the mouth, and then some spicy oak on the back end. Lean, with a tight feel and citrusy, acidic edges.
