On the nose, smoky aromas of bacon and rubber mingle with notes of toasty oak and black fruit. The palate is lively and vital, with powerful plum, berry, vanilla and butter flavors. There’s a leftover butter note on the finish along with texture and length. Ripe, lush and well oaked, this is a blend of 55% Malbec and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon.

A big, dark, extracted Malbec with murky lead aromas of Graham cracker and sweet blueberry. The palate is jammy and chunky, with dark, earthy flavors of prune, blackberry and raisin. Finishes a bit pruny, but there’s enough acidity to maintain a sense of balance. Drink now.

A bit of pine and citrus seeps onto the cola and black-fruit nose, while the palate is filled with sweet berry, olive and herbal flavors. Some exotic spice and clove makes the finish interesting, and overall it's nice and a little out of the box.

Rubber, plastic and black fruit aromas. Feels fat and buttery, but with a streak of acidity that gives it pulse. Flavors of red berry come with oaky support, and the finish is sweet, oaky and warm.

Dilute and gritty, with cleanliness issues. The palate is thin, scratchy and tastes like brambly berry fruit mixed with clay. And it finishes with tomato notes and a dull scour.
