An almost Sauvignon Blanc-like palate of light lemon and mineral flavors melts into more citrus, plus green herbs and vegetables, on the finish. Lots of vanilla, plus a perfumey-floral sweetness, marks the bouquet.

The dilute, grapey flavors are candied, and a pile of charred lumber doesn’t make them go down any easier. A simple wood-and-juice quaff.
