Char, dried earth, potpourri and stewy fruit aromas are followed by flavors of blueberry, strawberry and a faint whiff of pastry. Displays good balance of acid, fruit and tannins, but lacks richness.

Bay leaf, dried spices and violet aromas lead to juicy blackberry and unsweetened cocoa flavors. Despite the bright tannins and mellow acidity, this wine lacks a bit of weight at midpalate.

A very grapey wine that’s reminiscent of Concord grape juice on the nose. Cranberry and strawberry flavors come through on the palate, but it’s essentially tart and lemony on the finish.
