With only 56 cases imported, it may be a challenge to track down some of this full-bodied, slightly chunky Pinot Noir. The oak is a little too evident at this early stage, with toast and vanilla notes laying atop deeper notes of black cherries and spice, but give it 2–3 years and it shouldstart to sing.

The product of a great vintage in Central Otago, this wine shows why the region is so promising for Pinot. It delivers earthy, savory, meaty notes that never seem heavy thanks to its rich, velvety texture and copious ripe cherry fruit. Imported by Station Imports Inc.
