A surprisingly strong effort from Ogier, this is marked by dark, earthy notes of espresso, black olives and blackberries. Drink this full-bodied, slightly chewy wine over the next few years. Imported by Classic Wines of California and Vinum International.

A surprisingly strong effort, Ogier’s Heritage Blanc shows some intriguing notes of orange and mushroom on the nose, then follows up with plenty of heft on the palate and a long, citrusy finish. Drink it over the next several months.

Cherry and cinnamon notes on the nose, with a round, supple mouthfeel and simple but satisfying flavors. Picks up some slightly astringent tannins on the finish, but still a better bet to drink now instead of aging.

Four different grape varieties go into this well-made rosé, but the result is still somewhat straightforward, largely plums and cherries. It’s medium in body, yet does show a trace of warmth on the finish.

Shows traces of underripe fruit in its herbal scents and bell-pepper flavors, but there are also bright cherry notes and a pleasant dusty earthiness. Tangy on the finish, blending chocolate and citrus. Imported by Cannon Wines Limited.

This blend of five different grape varieties yields by its very nature nonspecific fruit character, but it is ripe and round, honeyed and spicy on the finish. Drink now.
