Pago de la Jaraba 2007 Azagador Viñedos Propios Crianza Red (La Mancha)
Best Buy
Online Exclusive
Price
$10
Aromas of balsam wood, dry leather, and slightly herbal berry fruit are generally appealing, while the palate has size, balance and a healthy feel to it. More woody and spicy than outright fruity, with a touch of zesty raspberry and strawberry at the core. Nice but simple red wine.

Pago de la Jaraba 2002 Azagador Viñedos Propios Crianza Red (La Mancha)

The nose deals perfume, sawdust and even some fruit, while tobacco, cassis and blackberry flavors are adequate if not overly impressive. More interesting than some in its class, with a few flaws along with virtues.

Pago de la Jaraba 2003 Crianza Red (La Mancha)

Woodsy and smoky up front, which sort of hides the fact that there’s very little fruit on the bones of this wine. On the palate, it’s peppery and firm, with spiky tannins.
