Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy 2008 Les Anges Lots Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre)

A powerful wine, tropical in its fruit flavors with mango and guava and layered with a mineral texture. This is rich and concentrated, with acidity that gives a great final bite.  — R.V.  (12/15/2010)

Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy 2004 Vieilles Vignes Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre)

  1. $27
This is a great, intense, apples-and-cream style of wine. The acidity is certainly there, but the richness and the ripeness of the fruit dominate. With its concentration and freshness, this will be delicious to drink this summer, but will age for a couple more years. Imported by Weygandt-Metzler.  — R.V.  (8/1/2006)

Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy 2000 Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre)

  • Editors' Choice
  1. $24
The tight bouquet tosses off a touch of mustard seed, lemon and lees. The mouth is full and round, bordering on plump. There is pineapple and mango to the sweet-fruit finish, and it goes down easily. It’s the quintessential ready-to-drink Loire white.  — W.E.  (8/1/2002)

Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy 2003 Cuvée Les Coûtes Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre)

  1. $21
Ripe apple and peach aromas are numbed by a heavy mineral note. Generic but very pleasant flavors of citrus, melon and white pepper do the trick. Stony and crisp, and clear as polished glass on the finish. Just not terribly complex, however. Imported by Weygandt-Metzler.  — W.E.  (7/1/2005)

Pascal & Nicolas Reverdy 2004 Terre de Maimbray Sauvignon Blanc (Sancerre)

  1. $20
The chalky soil of Maimbray gives this wine its distinct mineral character. Along with aromas of white flowers are flavors of gooseberries, crisp green plums and a fresh, light structure. Fresh and delicate, this is a great apéritif style of Sancerre. Imported by Weygandt-Metzler.  — R.V.  (8/1/2006)
