A bit tart and disjointed now, and dominated by oak, with flavors of butterscotch, pineapples, green apples and cinnamon spice. But it’s young. Give it time. Should knit together in early 2010.

This Pinot is properly dry, with a silky texture. It shows pleasant cherry, pomegranate, cedar and spice flavors that finish with some richness, but could offer more punch at this price.

Tastes fruity-sweet, with candied cherry, mocha, toasted almond and cinnamon spice flavors, like a granola bar. Drink this soft wine now.

Has a nice, silky texture and fine acidity that gets the tastebuds whistling. But the cherry jam and charred oak combo is a bit tutti-fruity, even sweet.
