Perry Creek has done a nice job on this Viognier. It has a pretty, very floral nose, and its aromatics make it inviting throughout, a small percentage of Marsanne and Roussanne coming through. Medium-bodied, it just finishes a percentage too sweet to taste truly balanced.

Pretty plum and cherry flavors are at the center of this wine. The tannins are smooth and supple, while the finish is moderate in length, showing hints of coffee and spice.

Delicious in briary blackberry jam, cherry pie, currant, milk chocolate, black pepper and anise flavors, with a touch of sweet oak, and the finish is totally dry. It’s a little too soft in structure, but fine if you’re in the mood for Zinfandel.

Ripely fruity, with sun-warmed flavors of white peach and nectarine. Acids are fine, and boost the structure. There’s also a subtle overlay of oak that adds to the tastes.

Fair Play-based Perry Creek’s Cab has high toned blue and red fruit and is tamely structured for being from high-elevation vineyards. Its finish is sweetly floral.

A full-bodied wine, framed in impressive tannins that lean a bit toward astringency. Flavors are blackberry and plum, with hints of toast and spice. A bit short on the finish.
