Pike & Joyce 2002 Lenswood Pinot Noir (Adelaide Hills)

$27
Shows sexy, intense aromas of lifted cherry, tree bark and cola, and flavors of earth, tea, plum and cherry. It’s quite a ride on the palate—enjoyable and tasty, but meant for near-term drinking. Imported by USA Wine West.

This steel-cored Sauvignon is zesty, dry and clean. It offers lifted grapefruit and banana aromas, and grapefruit, lemon and stone flavors on the palate. One to drink poolside, on the hottest day of the year. Imported by USA Wine West.

Pike & Joyce 2005 Lenswood Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide Hills)

Green pea, lime and quince aromas set the stage for a medium-bodied, slightly creamy wine. Citrus, fig and melon flavors finish long and crisp.

Pike & Joyce 2002 Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide Hills)
Price
$20
This SB has fresh green pea and yellow fruit aromas, and trading-card powder and yellow fruit flavors. The texture is a little coarse, and the body bolder than many other SBs, but it’s still a refreshing, food-friendly alternative to Chardonnay.

Pike & Joyce 2003 Lenswood Chardonnay (Adelaide Hills)
Price
$27
This Chard hails from one of the Adelaide Hills’ better-known subregions. It’s a very good wine, with enjoyable cream and nut aromas, and juicy, tropical yellow fruit flavors coming on the palate. Straightforward, and drinking well now. Imported by USA Wine West.

Pike & Joyce 2004 Lenswood Pinot Gris (Adelaide Hills)
Price
$21
A lively wine, this wine is full of subtle red apple and pear flavors. The feel is dry; out of the bottle it’s quite crisp but softens with air. At 180 cases made, might be hard to come by. Imported by USA Wine West.
