Pillitteri 2003 Sparkling Icewine Vidal Blanc (Niagara Peninsula)
-
$60
Clean, elegant and with a poised balance of creaminess and spice, this is a delicate but luscious summer sip. Apricots and cloves on the nose and palate are complex but not overwhelming, and the honeyed finish lingers without unwanted weight, thanks in part to a measured acidity. Will pair well with desserts, but is good on its own.

Pillitteri 2004 Icewine Vidal Blanc (Niagara Peninsula)
-
$40
The pineapple, honey and lemon aromas of this elegant, golden wine are delicate, but on the palate, the wine is assertive and complex. Buttery and rich, but lightened by tropical fruit flavors, it has a balanced acidity and a lengthy, pleasureable finish.

Pillitteri 2007 Icewine Cabernet Sauvignon (Niagara-On-The-Lake)
-
$70
Tempting on the nose with scents of strawberry jam, honey and spice, Pillitteri’s Cab icewine boasts rich, sumptuous strawberry flavors with a hint of bitter plum skin notes and a bright, sunny acidity for balance. There’s a some lingering sugary sweetness on the finish, but overall, still quite nice.

Pillitteri 2004 Icewine Cabernet Franc (Niagara Peninsula)

$60
Elegant and integrated, this pale pink icewine has a complex nose of flowers, maple syrup and strawberry, followed by round, lush flavors of strawberry, raspberry and tropical fruit. It’s a touch sweet and heavy on the mouth, but the flavors are lively and the finish lingering with a light finesse. A lovely picnic wine that will pair well with most foods.
