This is cool climate Cabernet, ripe but relatively delicate, with just a herbaceous touch. The texture is dry, firm, with structured tannins. It leaves an aftertaste of aciditity.

Rijk's Private Cellar 2004 Chenin Blanc (Tulbagh)
This barrel-fermented wine shows great wood flavors, but very little fruit. Caramel and vanilla elements dominate, along with spice and pepper. The aftertaste is creamy and soft. Imported by wine@34south.
