This dark, rich wine is redolent with scents of the earth. Powerful in the mouth, with sweetly ripe flavors of blackberries, cherries and plums, although the wine is dry. Has soft tannins and a long finish.

Rich and thick-textured, with up-front hints of bright cherry, plum, anise, blackberry, spice and herbs. Tannins are a tad rustic; powerful. The finish is quite viscous, almost prune-like. Big stuff.

This pretty wine is light in body, with an unusually silky mouth feel for Zin, but it packs lots of flavor. Oodles of jammy berries, stone fruits and cocoa, in soft tannins and a fruity, spicy finish. Lip-smackingly easy to down.
