There’s a nice aromatic ensemble here of spice, clove, oak, prune and cherry. But the oak nuances are a bit overpowering. More wood flavors appear in the mouth as well as dried berry flavors.

Easy to like at all checkpoints. Almond, pear and chunky apple aromas lead into lemon-lime, melon and green apple flavors. A lightly candied finish keeps its freshness, and the overall impression is positive. Imported by Vintwood International Ltd.

This Pinot Grigio Reserve boasts a creamy and attractive mouthfeel that is accented by fresh aromas of peach, citrus, grapefruit, yellow flower and toasted almond. It is an immensely food-friendly wine that would pair well with creamy pasta or baked fish.

This Reserve expression of Pinot Grigio does offer extra aromatic layers of exotic fruit, honey and apricot that help build overall complexity. There’s a sweet note of yellow candy or butterscotch at the end.

As far as Prosecco goes, this Millesimato Superiore shows roundness and suppleness that gives it determination and length on the finish. The mouthfeel is driven by layers of apricot, white flower and lemony mousse.

Copper-pink in color, with a light, floral bouquet. Yes, it’s a bit sweet in a White Zin way, but it holds its form and balance courtesy of berry fruit, nectarine flavors and firm acidity. Lasting on the finish; stands out from the crowd. Imported by Vintwood International Ltd.

Here’s a dark, concentrated and very ripe Pinot Nero from northern Italy that is redolent of blackberry preserves, wild berries, exotic spice and lavender flower. The wine offers dense concentration and a meaty, thick texture that is carried forth by more ripe fruit flavors.
