Dynamite Syrah, a joy to drink. It’s a rich mélange of blackberry, white pepper, espresso and tobacco. Near-perfect tannins, complex and accessible, and just the right overlay of toasty oak. Beautiful stuff, a vision of Syrah’s future in California.

Combines a delicate body with punchy flavors to create a feminine wine of considerable power and finesse. It avoids jamminess, coming down on the side of less ripe earth and tomato, although there are gorgeous stone fruit notes and a sumptuous overlay of smoky oak. The flavors and texture are absolutely terrific.

The mouth knows quality when it feels it, and this sensational Syrah is great. Ripeness was no problem, to judge by the blackberry, cherry, mocha and spice flavors. The quality is in the soft tannins and the way they interplay with fresh acidity.

Absolutely delicious, a Chard to ponder, or just to enjoy. Voluptuous flavors of tropical fruits, figs and spiced plums flood the mouth to the edge of sweetness. This wine is well-oaked, with a rich, creamy texture and an enormously long, spicy finish.

Delightful peach and citrus aromas with a dusty, smoky, buttery note. Rich and creamy. A highly-extracted Chard, crisp and fancy and very fine. —

Despite its translucency, this is a big wine in flavor. Fills the mouth with lush cherry, leather, smoke, cola, rhubarb, spicy pepper and sweet rosehip tea flavors accented with fine smoky oak. What a lovely texture, delicate and silky, yet firm.

Shares much in common with the winery’s Morelli bottling, except it’s a shade less rich. Spicy tropical fruit flavors, smoky oak, a creamy texture and bright acidity make it wonderful to drink now.

Lovely body and texture in this light and silky wine, with its soft tannins and crisp acidity. The flavors suggest tea, cranberry, and fruits such as black cherry and raspberry. Complex and interesting, this is fun to drink.
