Pretty peach, apricot, mealon and spice notes frame a core of refreshing, lemon-like acidity. The finish shows a hint of vanilla and more spice. This wine is fun, fresh and lively to the end. -J.M.

Smooth and nutty up front, with good acidity holding it together. The wine also shows pretty hints of peach, almond, pear and apple, and finishes with a touch of spice.

What a disappointment, as previous vintages have been better. Starts off a little tanky, and airing doesn’t help it. There’s some simple fruit in the taste.
