Located in Oregon’sChehalem Mountain AVA, Sineann Winery was founded by Peter Rosback and David O’Reilly in 1994. While Pinot Noir is the winery’s leading variety, other varieties produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. Winemaker Peter Rosback not only sources his grapes from Washington State, but his Sauvignon Blanc is made with New Zealand grapes and some of the red wines are made from Napa Valley-sourced varieties. As a small producer of mostly single vineyard-produced wines, Sineann is able to create wines that express both terroir as well as the typicity of each variety.
