Dark, tannic and full-bodied, this five grape Bordeaux blend from a classic Washington vintage is 100% Alder Ridge fruit. This is a fine effort, cellar-ready and substantial. Black fruits, fresh herbs, a hint of tomato leaf, a streak of caramel, all come together but need lots of breathing time (or cellaring) to show their best.

Very dark, plum-colored wine with a super ripe nose of raisins and ripe red fruits. The mongrel blend (30% cabernet sauvignon, 23% sangiovese, 13% merlot, 12% malbec, 11% grenache, 11% syrah) delivers strong scents and flavors of toast and coffee, surprising in a wine at this price. Firm and fresh, this puts pear and apple fruit front and center. There are some skin flavors also, lending a bit of phenolic bite to the finish.

Negociant blend of six different grapes, with plenty of bold, spicy flavors. Coffee and toast underpin the red fruits, and it’s a fun, lively wine with real personality.

With scents that are high toned and slightly green, this sharp and leafy Cabernet includes smaller percentages of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot that are sourced from the Alder Ridge Vineyard. Compact flavors of cassis, smoke and earth combine to form its core.

Six different varieties are included in the blend, which varies from year to year. This is very open and fruity, a good, all-purpose red blend that is ready to drink right now. The palate impression is almost too soft, with a residual flavor of ripe bananas running through the finish.
