A succulent, off-dry Riesling from organically grown grapes, Snoqualmie’s Naked bottling opens with floral top notes, fills out the palate with crisp apple and peach fruit, then turns almost tropical, with a lingering finish loaded with honey and papaya.

A lovely effort, with round, spicy fruit and a pleasing lushness in the midpalate. Lemon tea and hints of sweet honey are backed with enough acid to give it plenty of grip. All in all, it’s a very good Washington imitation of a Spatlëse.

A fine Chardonnay for the price. Soft and buttery upon entry, it shows good balance in the midpalate, with the butter blended with fresh apple and lime, and set against enough juicy acidity to give it definition.
