Soleil & Terroir 1997 La Colline-Reserve Chardonnay (Arroyo Grande Valley)
Price
$30
Buttered toast and hazelnut aromas zoom out of the glass. Lots of things going on here, but definitely not a fruit-driven wine. Instead relies on toasty, nutty, leesy flavors to keep your interest sip after sip. A love-it-or-hate-it style from Nichols Winery.
