A massively fruity Zinfandel that shows how easy it is for the variety to ripen to perfection in Dry Creek Valley. Raspberries, cherries and currants flood the mouth, with notes of olive tapenade, cola, sandalwood and scads of dusty Indian spices, leading to a dry finish. It’s a lusty wine to drink now.

Good structure and acidity serves up pretty blackberry, cassis, anise, tar and spice flavors. Tannins are smooth and ripe, with a bright-edged finish that hints of tar and citrus.
