Raspberries, cherries and currants flood the mouth, with notes of olive tapenade, cola, sandalwood and scads of dusty Indian spices, leading to a dry finish. It’s a lusty wine to drink now.

Good structure and acidity serves up pretty blackberry, cassis, anise, tar and spice flavors. Tannins are smooth and ripe, with a bright-edged finish that hints of tar and citrus.
