This light and leesy wine has excellent focus and refreshing minerality. Flavors of melon and kiwi highlight a complex but delicate wine, with lingering flavors and refreshing crispness.

What a treat to find a Pinot Noir this expressive, dense and polished at this price point. The density, black fruits, herbal threads, thick tannins and the overall mass of the wine belie the rather modest alcohol. But however this was done, it was well done, and the wine has muscle, verve, cherry and coffee liqueur, earthy power and impact.

Sharp and spicy, with pleasing focus and minerality. Flavors mix tart, racy green fruits with a bracing acidity and suggestions of chalk. Excellent structure; best to decant it first.

From a boutique producer, this offers a soft, floral bouquet reminiscent of rose petals and face powder. That delicate entry belies a wine with grip and tannin, as well as some spicy, herbal toughness.
