Terrazzo 2000 Sangiovese-Montepulciano (Marche)

Mildly horsey at first, with sharp fruit aromas and burnt edges. Strawberry mixed with oak defines the palate, while on the finish it’s more tannic than the fruit can handle. Runs high on spice, particularly chili and black pepper. The blend is 60% Sangiovese, 40%Montepulciano.
