Terre del Marchesato 2006 Il Tarabuso Red (Toscana)

  1. $40
The oak notes are more evident here (compared to the 2005 vintage) and need a few more years to integrate with the wine’s ripe, pulsing fruit. You’ll get soft blackberry, spice and leather and the wine is broad and generous on the palate with soft tannins and excellent length. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.  — M.L.  (11/1/2009)
