T'Gallant 2000 Tribute Pinot Gris (Mornington Peninsula)

  1. $20
The full pear and spice bouquet of this wine pulls you right in. Similar appealing ripe flavors follow, offset by earthy notes on the rich, slightly viscous palate. The spicy close shows good length and texture, a pleasant back bouquet. It’s close in manner to some Pinot Gris from Alsace.  — M.M.  (2/1/2002)

T'Gallant 2000 Chardonnay (Mornington Peninsula)

  1. $18
Seems almost Burgundian in this crowd, with its aromas of smoke and white peach and flavors of roasted hazelnuts and grilled peaches. Finishes clean and crisp, with tart, lime-like acidity and hints of smoke.  — J.C.  (7/1/2002)

T'Gallant 2000 Imogen Pinot Gris (Mornington Peninsula)

  1. $18
Creamier and less spicy than their Tribute bottling, the Imogen offers gentle pear and vanilla aromas and flavors. Some people may like it better, as it’s softer and milder on the palate, but the Tribute has a bolder attitude. Closes dry and even, with modest length.  — M.M.  (2/1/2002)

T'Gallant 2000 Pinot Noir (Mornington Peninsula)

  1. $25
A pretty, light-weight wine that offers up smoky, herbal scents along with almost ephemeral wisps of red fruit. It’s dry and delicate; a waif-like Pinot that could benefit from a little more flesh. —J.C.  — J.C.  (9/1/2002)
