Soft upon entry, this is a lush and plummy wine, with a rich mix of purple and somewhat grapy fruit flavors. What elevates it are the threads of darker fruits and highlights that enrich the tannins. A lingering finish with licks of dark chocolate is the icing on the cake.  — P.G.  (6/1/2012)
