Torito Bravo 2009 Grenache-Syrah (Cariñena)
Best Buy
Price
$10
Zesty, edgy red berry aromas are bright, scratchy and sweet. The palate is healthy, balanced and creamy, with juicy, slightly candied flavors of red berry fruits and herbs. Creamy and round but balanced. Shows the good side Cariñena at a fair price; 60% Garnacha and 40% Syrah.

Torito Bravo 2009 White (Cariñena)

Price
$10
Not bad for a $10 blend of Chardonnay and Moscato. The nose is mostly neutral except for basic peach and white grape aromas. The palate is a bit thin and chalky, but at least it’s clean and offers decent flavors of lemon and papaya.

Torito Bravo NV Sweet Chardonnay-Moscato White (Spain)

Strained from front to back. The nose smells pickled and funky, while the palate is boring in feel and tastes candied but also a lot like brine or caper juice. Sweet on the finish.
