Quite dry, nicely structured, and sporting generous, fresh acidity, this food-friendly Pinot Gris has moderately ripe fruit flavors that emphasis citrus and lemon rind. The alcohol is just 13.5%.  — P.G.  (8/1/2011)

Tyee 2008 Estate Barrel Select Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

  1. $35
Light and tart, with high acid cranberry fruit flavors. It’s clean and straightforward, though the old vines (some are 34 years old) do not deliver the complexity that might be anticipated.  — P.G.  (8/1/2011)

Tyee 1996 Pinot Blanc (Willamette Valley)

  1. $12
Released somewhat later than the typical Pinot Blanc, the wine was partially fermented in older French and Oregon oak barrels, which has given it a spicy/smoky center and a creamy texture on the finish.  — L.W.  (12/31/1999)

Tyee 1997 Pinot Blanc (Willamette Valley)

  1. $12
This Pinot Blanc is pretty mute from start to finish. Though its nose is very tight, it still shows light fig and peach aromas. Bone-dry in the mouth, its palate flavors are those of lemon pith and green apples. Finish is also dry, with mineral and metallic flavors.  — D.T.  (11/1/2001)
