Villa Vistarenni 1999 Riserva Sangiovese (Chianti Classico)
Price
$25
Smooth and complete, with cherry, chocolate, fresh herbs and burnt-leather aromas. On the palate, fresh red fruit is dressed in a robe of tasty oak, which creates the flavor sensation of raspberries topped with chocolate. Medium tannins; not too heavy; well balanced.

Villa Vistarenni 2000 Codirosso Cabernet Sauvignon-Sangiovese (Toscana)
Price
$33
Appealing on the bouquet, with fresh foresty aromas offsetting cherry and berry notes. Crisp and pure in the mouth, where quality fruit pushes forward unhindered by heavy oak and extract. A solid food wine if there ever was one.
