Vision Cellars 2006 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)
-
$48

Vision Cellars 2007 Chileno Valley Vineyard Pinot Noir (Marin County)
-
$42
The acidity is high in this vibrant Pinot Noir, giving it a tart, bracing mouthfeel. Then there’s the fruit, suggesting mashed red cherries with the skins, anise, cola and black pepper. It’s an interesting wine from a cool-climate region whose potential is just beginning to be explored.
