A solid value in German Riesling that just misses out being a Best Buy, this wine features aromas of honey-drizzled baked apples with cinnamon and lemon juice, a refreshingly light feel on the palate and an ultraclean, persistent finish with undertones of ripe melon. Drink now–2015.

Ripe aromas of fig, marmalade and honey, with hints of resin and balsamic. This is sweet and richly textured, but slightly heavy and low in acid. Moderately high flavor intensity showing similar flavors as on the nose. Fairly long, but shows a touch bitterness on the finish.

Savory in aroma, with popcorn and toast flavors punctuated by a spice thread. Noticeably off-dry, this subtle white winds up on a sweet peach note. Drink now.

From white limestone-derived soils (vom kalk), this fresh and cheerful Riesling features hints of wet stone and petrol but also melon rind and lemony acids that linger on the finish. Drink now.

An obvious but appealing aroma of sour candy lead into a dry palate that’s crisp but balanced, with nice pear and grapefruit inflections. An apple note shows through on the short-to-medium finish. Drink now.
