Tight in the nose, with hints of tomato and black plum. The flavors veer toward plum and cherry, as there’s quite a lot of fruit here. Furthermore, it’s nice and easy on the palate. Some toasty oak appears on the finish, which is buttery and fairly long. —M.S. — M.S. (1/28/2003)
